ADDED NOTE on 4/29: This (#10 spot) photo marks the end of my 6th month in the Daily Community. I know there are gaps and many of my pictures are off as I have a long way to go. I am grateful to you all for inspiring me to take better pictures. This has been an unforgettable experience. Now it's time to take a break and take care of my family.

$2013-04-26. Japanese Maple Tree Abstract. This is a composite of two images. The upper right corner of leaves was blended with Photoshop Soft Light. I liked the shadow of the blossom on the refracted light.
